Montgomery GI Bill®–Chapter 30

This is available to those who entered Active Duty after June 30th, 1985; For more information on the Montgomery GI Bill® select benefits.

Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)–Chapter 32

This program is available to those who entered the military after January 1st, 1977, contributed to the program, and did not contract with the Armed Forces under a delayed entry program. For more information on the Veterans Educational Assistance Program select benefits.

Post-9/11 GI Bill® –Chapter 33

Those who served a minimum of 90 combined days on active duty after September 10th, 2001 and received an honorable discharge are eligible. Dependents Educational Assistance–Chapter 35

This portion of 38 U.S.C. authorizes educational benefits to dependents and survivors of certain veterans who have serious disabilities as the result of their service, (100% disabled), or who have died of a service-connected cause, were a prisoner of war or missing in action. Reserve GI Bill®–Chapter 1606

Any person who enlists, re-enlists or extends an enlistment in the Selective Reserve for not less than six years, in addition to any other period of obligation after June 30th, 1985 and completed high school or GED, IADT, 180 days of service in the selective reserve and is satisfactorily participating in required training in the Selective Reserve. Activated Reservists After September 11th, 2001–Chapter 1607 (REAP)

More Tuition Assistance

Air Force Portal -- Air Force personnel can request TA online using the Air Force Portal.

ArmyIgnitED -- Active duty soldiers and students eligible for Army Reserve and the Army National Guard can request TA online using ArmyIgnitED. Don't forget that you must submit an annual TA Statement of Understanding (SOU) to your Army Education Counselor with your Commander’s signature.

NETPDTC-1560/3 -- Navy and Marine personnel must complete and submit the NETPDTC-1560 Form to their Education Office prior to the start of the term. This TA Application Form may be submitted via email, fax or in person.

CG-4147 -- Coast Guard personnel must complete and submit the CG-4147 Form to the Education Office prior to the start of the term. This TA Application Form may be submitted via email, fax or in person.
